In a shocking turn of events, a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan named Ratan Singh was shot dead at a camp in Dhuliyan, Murshidabad. The incident occurred during a heated argument with a colleague, escalating into a tragic confrontation that left the camp in turmoil. Reports indicate that Ratan was struck by at least six bullets, leading to his untimely demise.

According to police sources, the altercation took place late Saturday night. What began as a verbal dispute quickly spiraled out of control, resulting in the colleague allegedly opening fire with a nearby rifle. The sound of gunfire sent shockwaves through the camp, prompting a swift response from a large police contingent from the Samserganj police station.
