Parliamentary Parties Set to Meet with Modi Upon Their Return

Multifaceted Parliamentary Delegation to Meet PM Modi Post Global Tour

In a significant political progress, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to engage with a multifaceted parliamentary delegation upon their return from an extensive international tour. This delegation, comprising members from both the ruling and opposition parties, has been on a mission to convey India’s stance against terrorism and promote the message of Operation Sindoor across 33 countries. The meeting with Modi is tentatively scheduled for June 9 or 10, marking a pivotal moment in India’s diplomatic efforts.

the delegation consists of 59 members, with 31 representing the BJP-led NDA coalition and 20 from the opposition. Additionally, several retired diplomats have joined this diverse group. As they return to India this week, the discussions with Modi are expected to be crucial, especially following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22. This will be the first full cabinet meeting as the attack, highlighting the urgency of national security discussions. Modi’s engagement with his cabinet members comes after a series of meetings with the Home and Defence Ministers, indicating a shift towards a more inclusive approach in addressing pressing security concerns. As the nation watches closely, this meeting could set the tone for India’s future diplomatic and security strategies.
