The accused had been on the run for some time, and authorities finally tracked him down to a hideout in the Madeyganj area. Under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Sakina Khan, a police team moved in to apprehend him, but the situation quickly escalated.
According to police reports, the suspect attempted to flee upon realizing he was surrounded. Armed with a firearm, he opened fire on the officers, prompting them to return fire.
