The deep depression has made landfall close to Raidighi, situated between the Sagar Islands of West Bengal and Khulna in Bangladesh. Over the next few hours, it is expected to move further north-northeast. However, as time progresses, the system will gradually lose strength, transitioning into a regular low-pressure area. This weather phenomenon serves as a reminder of the region’s vulnerability to monsoon-related disturbances, highlighting the need for preparedness among local communities. As the rains pour down, the emotional weight of anticipation hangs in the air, with residents bracing for the impact while hoping for minimal disruption.
