In a significant move following recent unrest in the Maheshtala area of south 24 Parganas, the Inspector in Charge (IC) of rabindranagar Police Station, Mukul Mia, has been transferred to Darjeeling. his replacement, Sujan Kumar Roy, previously served as the Circle Inspector in Malda. Additionally, Kamruzzaman Molla, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Maheshtala, has been reassigned to the Third Battalion of the State armed police, with Syed Rezaul Karil stepping in as his successor from the Rajarhat Police Station.
