Fear Grips Sundarbans as Tiger Spotted Near Human Habitation
In a startling turn of events, residents of Maipith in teh Sundarbans are on high alert following the sighting of a tiger near their village. Early Tuesday morning,a local man stepped outside his home to find himself face-to-face wiht a yellow-striped South Bengal tiger,sending him into a panic. This tiger,having emerged from the dense forests of Azmalmari,crossed the Makri River and ventured into the fringes of human settlements,igniting fresh fears among the villagers.
The news of the tiger’s presence has prompted immediate action from the forest department, which is now working to safely relocate the animal back into its natural habitat. Traps are being set up in the hopes of capturing the tiger and returning it to the safety of the jungle. Until then, the villagers are living in a state of anxiety, unable to breathe easy as police have issued a directive prohibiting them from leaving their homes.
