Students Can Now Apply for College Admissions Starting Wednesday
Starting Wednesday, students will have the prospect to apply for college and university admissions,as announced by Education Minister Bratya Basu. From 10 AM onwards, students can submit applications to a maximum of 25 colleges of their choice. To assist students, the portal will feature an AI chatbot named Veena, ensuring a smooth application process. This centralized online portal will facilitate admissions to 460 government and government-aided colleges under 17 approved universities, all at no cost to the applicants.
The entire application process is designed to be user-pleasant and free of charge.Once the application deadline passes,a system-generated merit list for all courses across all colleges will be published within a specified timeframe. Students can then secure their admissions by submitting fees through the portal. This initiative not only simplifies the admission process but also aims to make higher education more accessible to students across the region.
