In a significant political maneuver, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has distanced itself from a coalition of 16 opposition parties demanding a special session of Parliament. Despite this split,TMC MP Derek O’brien has announced that AAP will send a separate letter to the central government regarding the issue. The meeting saw participation from leaders of various parties, including Congress, TMC, RJD, and the Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction). The opposition has been vocal about their demand for a special session, notably to address the implications of the recent attack.
