Tragic Accident Claims Life of Talented Student Learning to Ride scooter
In a heartbreaking incident that has left the community in shock, an 18-year-old high school student, Puja Saha, lost her life while learning to ride a scooter with her boyfriend in the quiet streets of Rajarhat-Newtown. The tragedy unfolded on a Sunday night, highlighting the importance of safety measures and the risks associated with learning new skills.
According to police reports, Puja had been eager to master scooter riding for several days, with her boyfriend, Shubankar Bhowmik, by her side. Sadly,neither of them wore helmets during their practice session. As they navigated the deserted roads, the scooter lost control on the busy Main Road, causing both riders to be thrown onto the pavement. Puja sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to a local private hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. The police have as arrived at the scene, recovering her body for an autopsy. In a separate incident, a woman named Pompa Das, aged 30, was found dead after being missing for three days, raising concerns among her neighbors who had not seen her leave her home. The community is left grappling with these tragic events, underscoring the need for vigilance and safety in everyday activities.
