The victim, 26-year-old Saddam Hossain, was reportedly involved with a married woman, Shalika khatun, which has raised eyebrows and led to speculation about the motives behind the crime.
On Tuesday, saddam was on his way to a brick kiln in Islamapur when he stopped by Shalika’s home in Khokra village. It was there that he was fatally shot in the head. Despite being rushed to the Harishchandrapur rural hospital, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival.
