Witnesses reported that tensions flared between the groups led by local leaders Munaj Mandal and Nazim Mandal, leading to a physical confrontation. The altercation left several attendees injured, with some requiring urgent medical attention at the Krishnanagar District Hospital. Among the injured, the condition of one individual, identified as Gosen Gain, is reported to be critical.
