Due to disagreements over remuneration and working conditions, the actress has stepped back from the project, paving the way for newcomer Triptii Dimri to take on the lead female role. This shift has sparked considerable buzz in the industry, especially given Vanga’s previous successes.
Triptii Dimri, who previously collaborated with Vanga on the film ‘Animal’, has been officially announced as the new lead by the production house T-Series. The declaration on Instagram expressed excitement about the “arrival of a new powerful duo” in the pan-world cinema ‘Spirit’, which stars Prabhas alongside Dimri. Filming is set to commence later this year. just days ago, there was notable speculation regarding Padukone’s involvement, but reports indicate that her exit was due to her demands for an eight-hour workday, a hefty fee of ₹20 crore, and her refusal to dub in Telugu. In a recent interview, Padukone shared that she is fully embracing motherhood, which has influenced her decision-making in her career.
Simultaneously occurring, Triptii is also busy with projects like ‘Dhadak 2’ and an untitled film by Vishal Bhardwaj. On the other hand, Padukone is gearing up to start work on the crime thriller ‘King’, directed by Siddharth Anand, where she will reunite with Shah rukh khan.
