As job seekers continue their protest outside the Bikash Bhavan, a significant faction has turned to the state BJP office in Salt Lake, seeking intervention from the Prime Minister and the President. Their plight has been brought to the attention of BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar and opposition leader suvendu Adhikari, who are urged to present their concerns to the highest levels of government.
suman Biswas, a representative of the protesters, emphasized the need for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to engage in dialog, stating that they are willing to meet wherever she calls for discussions. He pointed out that the root of their issues lies on the 14th floor of Nabanna, the state secretariat. The protesters believe that a legal challenge regarding the eligibility list could pave the way for job placements. Following their visit to the BJP office, they also approached the Pradesh Congress office, appealing for Rahul Gandhi’s involvement in their cause. The urgency of their situation reflects a broader concern about employment opportunities in West Bengal, highlighting the need for immediate governmental action to address their grievances.
