After enduring a harrowing 22 days in captivity in Pakistan, BSF Jawan Purnam Kumar Sau has returned to his home in Rishra, West Bengal. His experience, marked by alleged mental torture, has left him shaken, yet he remains resolute about his duties at the border. As he takes a brief respite wiht his family,Sau reflects on the challenges he faced and expresses his unwavering commitment to serve.
Upon his return, Sau shared that despite the trauma, he feels no fear about returning to the border. “The training we recieve prepares us for any situation,” he stated confidently. His determination to continue serving is evident, as he emphasized that he will fulfill any duties assigned to him. The emotional toll of his experience is palpable, yet his spirit remains unbroken.
