In a troubling case that has captured the attention of the community, a teenager has been missing for eight days in Rabindranagar, South 24 Parganas. The investigation has now been handed over to the CID after local police efforts,including social media outreach,failed to locate the boy. The Diamond Harbour police had initially launched a search,distributing the missing boy’s photographs across various platforms. However, with no leads emerging, the CID has stepped in, collaborating with the Government Railway police (GRP) to intensify the search. Meanwhile, the main suspect, Shahen Sha, has been arrested and subjected to rigorous questioning. Reports suggest that during interrogations, sha has provided misleading data, complicating the investigation further. Multiple charges have been filed against him and other suspects, highlighting the gravity of the situation.
