The party began early in the morning, with the ceremonial dressing of Gauranga Mahaprabhu in a new dhoti and punjabi, adorned with a garland of flowers and fragrant offerings. The event featured a lavish spread of traditional dishes,including panchabhaṅga,a medley of vegetables,and the special Jamai shashthi delicacy of mango-kheer dahi.
