In a vibrant display of devotion, the festival of Jamai Shashthi honoring Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Navadvipa. The party began early in the morning, with the ceremonial dressing of Gauranga Mahaprabhu in a new dhoti and punjabi, adorned with a garland of flowers and fragrant offerings. The event featured a lavish spread of traditional dishes,including panchabhaṅga,a medley of vegetables,and the special Jamai shashthi delicacy of mango-kheer dahi.
