Telangana Engineer’s Lavish Lifestyle Under Scrutiny Amid corruption Allegations
In a shocking revelation, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has uncovered a staggering ₹60 crore worth of assets belonging to nune Sridhar, an executive engineer in Telangana’s irrigation department. Following a series of raids across 13 locations linked to Sridhar, officials were astounded by the extent of his wealth, wich includes luxurious properties, agricultural land, and even gold ornaments. The inquiry was sparked by allegations of disproportionate assets, notably after Sridhar’s extravagant spending on his son’s wedding in Thailand raised eyebrows. The ACB’s findings paint a vivid picture of Sridhar’s opulent lifestyle. Among the assets discovered is a lavish 4,500 square-foot apartment in Hyderabad, along with three additional flats in Karimnagar, each valued at over a crore. Moreover, Sridhar owns several bungalows, including one in Tellapur, Hyderabad, with more properties under investigation. The sheer scale of his holdings, which also encompass 16 acres of agricultural land and multiple vehicles, has led to serious questions about the sources of his income. As the ACB continues its probe, the case serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing battle against corruption in public service, leaving many to wonder how such wealth can accumulate without scrutiny.
