In a heartfelt initiative,the BNP family has undertaken a cleanliness drive around the mausoleum complex of its founder,the late President Ziaur Rahman,in Dhaka. This effort, which included the planting of water lily saplings in the Zia Park lake, reflects a commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement. Led by the group’s convener, Atikur Rahman ruman, the event took place on a sunny Sunday morning, showcasing the BNP’s dedication to both heritage and nature.
According to our correspondent, Zahidul Islam Roni, the event saw participation from key figures within the BNP family, including advisor Engineer Mustafa-I-Jaman Selim and secretary member Mokhsedul Momin Mithun. The gathering also included youth leaders from the Dhaka Metropolitan Youth BNP, such as Mainul Islam Roni and Faisal Haider. This initiative not only aims to beautify the area but also serves as a reminder of the importance of preserving the surroundings for future generations.
