The lieutenant colonel issued a stern warning against mob formation, asserting that any attempts to create chaos would be met with strict action. He highlighted a recent incident in chittagong, where the army recovered uniforms linked to the KNF, describing it as alarming. Over the past 40 days, the army has seized 241 illegal firearms and 709 rounds of ammunition, bringing the total since August to 9,611 illegal weapons and over 285,000 rounds of ammunition. In addition, 1,969 individuals involved in various crimes have been arrested in the last month, contributing to a total of 14,266 arrests to date.
On May 20, a special operation in the Vashantek area led to the capture of notorious gangster Hitlu Babu and ten of his gang members, along with four foreign pistols and 28 rounds of ammunition.This operation has brought a sense of relief and security to the local community.
