Devdutta Tops Joint Advance Rankings, Receives Congratulations from Chief Minister

East BurdwanS Devdutta Maji Tops National Joint Entrance Exam for Girls

Devdutta Maji from Katwa, East Burdwan, has made headlines by securing the top position among girls in the National Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced. With an impressive score of 312 out of 360,she has not only excelled academically but has also become a source of pride for her community. The results, released recently, show that Devdutta, a student of Durgadasi Choudhurani High School, has consistently performed well throughout her academic journey.

In 2023, she achieved a remarkable 697 out of 700 in her secondary examinations and scored 492 out of 500 in her higher secondary exams, placing sixth in the merit list. Notably,she scored a perfect 100% in the second phase of the JEE mains. Initially aspiring to study at an IIT, Devdutta has now set her sights on the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, reflecting her evolving academic ambitions. Her exceptional achievements have garnered congratulations from West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee,who praised her for bringing pride to the state.
