On June 9, a catastrophic explosion rocked the MV Wan Hai 503, a Singapore-flagged cargo ship, approximately 40 nautical miles off the Kerala coast. The vessel, measuring 270 meters in length, had set sail from Colombo, Sri Lanka, bound for Mumbai just two days prior. The incident has left four crew members missing and five others injured, prompting an immediate response from the Indian Navy.
