Israel Strikes Yemen’s Sana’a Airport Amid Rising Tensions
In a notable escalation of hostilities, Israeli forces have launched airstrikes on Yemen’s capital, sana’a, targeting the airport just four months after a previous attack. According to reports from Houthi-controlled Al-Masirah television, Israel fired four missiles at the airport, with one striking a Yemenia Airways passenger plane parked on the runway. Fortunately, there were no passengers or crew on board at the time.As November 2023, the Houthis have been launching consistent missile attacks from Yemen’s coast, targeting commercial vessels in the Red Sea and Israeli territory.
