In a startling incident just six days after a tragic plane crash in Ahmedabad, former chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel found himself embroiled in a serious flight disruption. The Indigo flight, arriving from Delhi, landed at Raipur’s Veer Narayan International Airport at 2:25 PM, but what followed was a tense situation for the passengers onboard. As the aircraft came to a halt, the crew attempted to open the main door for disembarkation, only to discover a technical issue. The cabin screen linked to the door failed to signal, preventing the lock from disengaging. Among the passengers were not only Baghel but also local MLA Chatur Nand and Raipur mayor Meenal Chaubey, all of whom understandably grew anxious as thay remained trapped inside the aircraft for nearly 30 minutes. The atmosphere turned slightly chaotic, prompting immediate action from airport staff. After considerable effort, the door was finally opened, allowing all passengers to exit safely. following the incident, baghel confirmed that a technical problem had occurred at the door. After approximately half an hour of uncertainty, the door was opened, and the passengers were able to disembark safely. While no official statement has been released by the airline regarding the incident, internal investigations are reportedly underway to address the technical failure.
