DNA of 132 Individuals Identified in Ahmedabad

Tragic Ahmedabad Plane Crash: 132 DNA Identifications Completed

In a heart-wrenching aftermath of the June 12 plane crash in Ahmedabad, medical teams have successfully identified the DNA of 132 victims.Gujarat’s Health Minister, Rushikesh Patel, confirmed that 97 bodies have already been handed over to grieving families. The crash,which resulted in a catastrophic explosion and fire,has left the community in shock as authorities work tirelessly to identify the remains of those lost.The Civil hospital in Ahmedabad is facing immense challenges in identifying the charred bodies, a task made even more difficult by the severity of the injuries. Reports indicate that eight bodies,which were found in relatively intact condition,have already been returned to their families.The emotional toll on the families is palpable, as they navigate the painful process of mourning while awaiting closure. As the investigation continues, the focus remains on providing support to the affected families and ensuring that such tragedies are prevented in the future.
