Residents of Kultali Breathe a Sigh of Relief as Tiger is Captured

In a dramatic turn of events, the residents of Kultali finally found peace on Saturday night after a tiger was captured that had wandered into their area. The big cat, lured by a goat placed in a trap, was successfully secured, allowing the anxious villagers too rest easy after days of fear.

On Saturday morning, a tiger made its way into the Deulbari area of Kultali, prompting immediate action from the local forest department. A sturdy iron cage was set up, with a goat as bait. Around 3 AM, the sound of the cage door closing echoed through the night, followed by the tiger’s fierce roars. Forest officials were all smiles as they confirmed the capture of a Royal Bengal Tiger. As news spread, villagers who had been hiding in fear emerged from their homes to catch a glimpse of the majestic creature. The forest department quickly transported the captured tiger by boat for a thorough health check.

Authorities are now investigating how the tiger ended up in the village, having crossed a river from its natural habitat. If deemed healthy, the tiger will be released back into the wild, restoring the balance between nature and the local community.
